Review of an Intellectual Game
An engaging intellectual game where players have the opportunity to furnish their own house with various furniture and items while earning money through a quiz show.
The game consists of three rounds where players guess the word indicated on the scoreboard by spinning the drum each turn. The drum may land on sectors with different points, special sectors being:
<ul>
<li>Prize (P): Players can choose to continue the game or opt out and receive a prize enclosed in a black box. The prize is up for bidding or can be a set number of points chosen by the player. Otherwise, refusal results in receiving 5000 points.</li>
<li>Plus (+): Allows a player to reveal any chosen letter on the scoreboard.</li>
<li>Bankrupt (B): Player loses accumulated points and the turn.</li>
<li>Chance (C): Players have an opportunity to make a phone call to confirm or deny if a word is correct.</li>
<li>Zero (0): No points are lost but the turn passes to another player.</li>
<li>x2: Points earned are doubled for correctly guessing a letter, tripled for two letters, and increased by four times for three letters, and so on.</li>
</ul>
Players then choose a letter they believe is within the hidden word. Correct guesses reveal the letters on the scoreboard, awarding corresponding points for each revealed letter. Consecutive correct guesses offer players a choice between two boxes containing points, with a correct guess resulting in additional points being awarded.
In an exciting twist, players can participate in a super game featuring a crossword puzzle with three words. Players have the option to reveal letters of the host's choice. Successfully guessing all three words combines the points from the drum with those earned in the game, leading to victory. Guessing all words also rewards players with an additional 10,000 points.
An overall enjoyable experience where spinning the drum and accruing points enable players to purchase furniture for their virtual show house. A recommended game for those looking to test their intellect while having fun!
